About
I am a product designer and maker based in Bern, where I’ve lived since 2010. As a native French speaker living in a bilingual environment, I also speak German and work fluently across both languages.
My background brings together hands-on craftsmanship, object conservation and contemporary design. After training as a cabinetmaker, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in conservation at the Bern University of the Arts. I then spent several years working in various museums across Switzerland, handling, documenting and installing thousands of objects.
These experiences sharpened my eye and deepened my sensitivity to materials, forms and the stories they carry. Every object has something to teach. Understanding how it was made, used or preserved gives me valuable insight for designing differently. I try to carry that knowledge into each of my projects.
Today, I design simple and contemporary objects, made for everyday use. I explore what materials can do, what shapes can evoke, and how use can raise new questions. My work is informed by the past, but rooted in the present — guided by curiosity, precision and a desire to experiment.
